Newsletter #14 - Gaming Events Around the Area
As you all know, we are always happy to see everyone enjoy gaming at our events. Whether you follow us around town or were just in the area while we were there, introducing gaming to those around the area has been so much fun. What is even more fun is seeing places we have been to or new places popping up with their own events. In the next few weeks there are so many gaming related activities taking place and I want you all to know about them.
First up we have the Game Night at the Steel Museum. The Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor is holding a game night on January 12 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. They will have a game library available as well as, drinks and snacks. There is a $5 donation that will go to support Education and Outreach. They hope to make this a monthly event and your support could help make that happen.
Next up is Klask at Noble Creature. Every Tuesday is Klask Tuesday. They will have $1 off drafts for anyone who is playing. Klask is like tabletop gamingβs version of air hockey. It is very easy to learn, quick to setup, and a blast to play. Noble Creature would love to build this up to eventually start tournaments for competitive play. Stop in on Tuesday and let them show you how to play.
Finally, there is Dungeons & Dragons & Drafts at Modern Methods in February. Although it is sold out, the number of tickets sold for this event is amazing to see. Dungeons & Dragons is a great way to tell stories with your friend and make memories that will last a lifetime. Hopefully the success of this first D&D & Drafts will lead to more of the happening in the future.
Of course there are still our events listed below, but I hope some of you will take the time to support the other fantastic places around the area that are helping support tabletop games and introduce this great hobby to more people.
Where will we be next?
