Newsletter #15 - Our Recent Favorites
First up, we have game night at Branch Street Coffee tonight, February 28th, from 6pm - 9pm. We had a fantastic group last time and completely filled up the place. We hope to have the same crowd so be sure to get there early to grab a seat.
The game night at Penguin City this Friday has unfortunately been cancelled. We will be picking back up there in April on our normal schedule. Sorry for anyone looking forward to it.
It has been awhile since I have talked about any specific games in one of these, but I wanted to list out a few of our games that we have been enjoying lately. Most of these should be available at our events and I would love to teach them to anyone who asks.
Dice Miner - A dice drafting game with limited rules and fast gameplay. We have enjoyed many plays of this recently and I consider it one of my favorite games for new gamers.
Endangered - This one is my new favorite cooperative game. Take on the daunting task of saving an endangered species from extinction. This game is punishing, but very rewarding at the same time.
The Bloody Inn - A light card game with a heavy, yet comedic theme. You all run an Inn that makes its money by killing an burying its guests. This one has been growing on my lately and rising up the ranks to be one of my favorite card games.
Mission Red Planet - This was a game that I had been wanting to try for a long time and recently got the chance to play it. Such a great area control game with a little bit of take-that. It makes for a good time, but keep in mind it can be a little mean.
Where will we be next?
